Big Dogs.
Big Lives.

Basecamp is the modular travel system built for dogs 80 lb and up. Food, water, and gear, packed right for wherever you're headed. Pack Right. Roam Far.

Engineered for 80+ lb Dogs

The Problem

Most travel gear stops at 80 pounds.

If your dog is 80, 100, 140 lbs, you already know this: the gear was built for medium dogs. Bowls tip. Totes crack. Slow feeders are sized for a beagle, not a Great Dane or Mastiff.

So you cobble it together: an old cooler for food, a jug for water, a grocery bag for the rest. It works. Barely. None of it was built for your dog, and all of it takes up room you don't have.

Sized for the wrong dogMost gear tops out well below 80 lbs, an afterthought for anything larger.
Scattered across multiple containersFood, water, and gear end up in whatever containers happened to fit.
Not designed to travel, stack, or lastCoolers and grocery bins were never meant to stack, strap, or survive real trail use.

Large-breed owners haven't just been underserved. They've been forgotten.

The Solution

Basecamp: Pack Right. Roam Far.

A modular travel system engineered specifically for large and giant breed dogs. Three tiers and a rugged shell that lock together into one unit. No setup required, just pack and go.

Hand packing gear, treats, and first aid into Basecamp's lower tier.

Lower Tier - Gear & Essentials

Built-in water storage, leashes, meds, first aid, treats and accessories. Everything has a home. Nothing gets buried.

Scooping kibble from Basecamp's divided middle-tier food storage.

Middle Tier - Food Storage

Durable 40-cup weather-resistant storage. Enough for multi-day overlanding, RV trips, car camping, boarding and more.

A Great Dane drinking from Basecamp's elevated top-tier feeding station.

Top Tier - Elevated Feeding Station

Flips open into an elevated slow-feeder station. Keeps the healthier feeding position on the road, which lowers bloat risk for large breeds.

Closing Basecamp's weather-resistant exterior shell with leash clipped to an accessory mount.

Exterior Shell

Weather-resistant, impact-rated, with accessory mounts. Fasten your waste bags or leash to the exterior quick-release points.

~15″W × 18″H × 11″D, sized for large-breed reality, not scaled up
Food-grade materials, built for the weight and force of a large dog
Every component removes, washes, and reassembles independently

Modular Stacking Case

Two Basecamp tiers stacked and locked together.

Tiers lock together so food, water, and gear share one tidy footprint in the truck or tent.

Leak-Proof Water Jugs

Two leak-proof, screw-cap water jugs.

Two leak-proof, screw-cap jugs keep water clean and contained mile after mile.

Slow Feeder Insert

Channeled slow-feeder insert, top-down.

Channeled insert paces fast eaters and helps cut gulping, bloat, and mess at mealtime.

Divided Feed Tray

Divided food storage tray, open.

Keeps food, treats, and supplements separated, no more digging through one bag to find what you need.

Portion Scoop

Built-in portion scoop.

Scoop the same amount every time, even when you're away from the kitchen.

Adjustable Carry Strap

Padded, adjustable carry strap with XLK9 branding.

Sling it over your shoulder and move. Hands-free for big dog adventures.

How It Stacks Up

Every module locks into one unit.

1

Load each tier

Gear and essentials on the bottom, food storage in the middle, the slow-feeder on top. The scoop nests right inside.

2

Stack and lock

All three tiers clip together into a single, carryable unit. Nothing loose, nothing rolling.

3

Strap it and go

One padded carry strap, sized for a quick grab-and-go from the truck bed to the trail.

Why We Built This

Built from necessity, not a gap we spotted. One we lived.

Alex's own large dogs exposed the gaps on every trip: bags, spilled kibble, water jugs, and gear with no home. Nothing was designed for a dog 80+ lb, so he built Basecamp to solve it. As a Great Dane owner for over 20 years, he'd already lived the health realities of giant breeds. That same experience, combined with his hardware background, is what produced Basecamp.

Alex put nearly $400,000 of his own capital into design, prototypes, IP, and real-world field testing with large dogs before asking anyone else to fund it. Design and utility patents are pending across four major jurisdictions. This is category-creation territory: no one has built a purpose-built modular travel system for dogs 80 lb and up before.

Who It's For

If your dog doesn't fit the gear, this is for you.

Basecamp is built for owners of large and giant breeds (80 lb and up) who travel, overland, or just want gear that was actually engineered for the dog they have.

Great Danes, Mastiffs, Ridgebacks, Shepherds, and every big dog in between
Weekend overlanders, trailhead regulars, and tailgate-and-truck-bed owners
Anyone tired of gear that assumes every dog fits in a tote bag

What's Next

More Adventures. More Time Together.

Basecamp gets them out there. Dogtor is built so they can keep going.

Most supplements are made for smaller dogs and simply dosed up. That doesn't work when your dog is 80, 100, or 150 pounds.

XLK9 Dogtor is formulated from the start for large and giant breeds: meaty soft chews and Adventure powders sized for real physiology, not a scaled-up small-dog formula.

What's coming
Daily soft chews for gut, mobility, calm, and organ support
Adventure powders that pair directly with Basecamp on the trail
Clean-label, chicken-free, built for dogs 80 lb and up
